Netball...again

Another Saturday and another trip to netball. Hannah had an 8.45 game this week but luckily it was in the stadium. She is improving every game and learning new things.

She is learning about using all of the court and calling for the ball when she is free. She is pretty funny though because she umpires herself. On Saturday a couple of times she just put the ball down because she thought she had done something wrong and was just leaving it for her player! The other thing she learnt on Saturday is that if the player you are on is doing up her shoelaces you don't have to stay with her! Very funny to watch. She is pretty happy that she gets to play with her very best friend Molly (who is the WD in the background of the photo above) and every time she gets the ball she wants to pass to her (so cute).

Gabby's team played straight after Hannah's on an outdoor court and it was actually warmer out there than it was inside. They won again 58 to 12. Unfortunately when we got home Gabby and Hannah were doing something and Gabby fell backwards onto her wrist and has chipped the bone and badly sprained it which means she is now in plaster for about 10 days. She is praying for rain so that the next round of netball will be cancelled and she won't miss a game!
